Location: Found near creek on No. 2 and No. 6.
Tree information: It is sometimes called Taxodium distichum var. imbricarum and not treated as a distinct species. The leaves are distinctively different from common Taxodium and it has a different habit and range.
Size: Commonly 70’ to 80’ with specimens over 100’.
Growth rate: 18’ in 20 years.
Foliage description: Has a characteristic ‘ascending ‘leaf pattern as seen in the pictures below. The fall color is Russet (sometimes called fox red) .
